SaveGPT is a browser extension that exports ChatGPT conversations into various file formats (PDF, Word, HTML, Markdown, JSON, and Plain Text).
SaveGPT does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or conversation content. The extension has no servers, no analytics, no tracking, and no telemetry.
When you click "Save as..." the extension reads the conversation currently visible on the ChatGPT page, converts it to your chosen format, and triggers a file download directly in your browser. All processing happens locally on your device. No data leaves your machine.
The extension requires access to chatgpt.com to read conversation content and inject the export button. It does not access any other websites.
SaveGPT does not use any third-party services, APIs, or external servers. There are no network requests made by the extension.
